Testosterone Replacement Therapy
-
Are you ready for a newer younger version of yourself? Starting TRT provides many satisfying benefits such as:
Increased muscle mass
Improved athletic performance
Weight loss
Increased Libido
Increased erectile function
Improved sexual performance
Improved memory & mood
Improved Sleep
Increased Insulin Sensitivity
Most patients starts to notice changes within a few weeks of starting TRT. Sometimes it may take 6-8 weeks for your body to become adjusted and upwards to 4-6 months for full acclimation to your new medication regimen.
-
The aging male can start to experience a decline in their overall wellbeing once they turn 30, losing roughly 1% of testosterone a year. Signs and symptoms of Low-T include:
Increased fatigue
Lack of motivation
Weight gain
Decreased libido
Decreased erectile function
Loss of body hair
Depression
Trouble sleeping
Gynecomastia
-
Our providers create individualized treatment plans to help boost low-T levels using synthetic testosterone.
Various formulations can be used such as:
Injections (weekly or bi-weekly)
Pills (daily)
Gels or Creams (daily)
Since testosterone can fluctuate other hormones in your body, your provider may recommend adjunctive medications to help stabilize your testosterone level.
-
Although hormone replacement therapy is relatively safe, it does have risks that patients should discuss with the provider. Additionally, there are medications that can help minimize or alleviate the side effects and/or risks listed below:
Testicular atrophy
Decreased fertility
Acne & Oily Skin
Accelerated balding in men with a history
Increased estrogenic effects
Increased urination
Increased risk for sleep apnea
High Blood Pressure
Fluid Retention
High cholesterol
Chest pain
Blood Clots
Blurry Vision
Heart Attack
Stroke
-
Men who have pre-existing or a strong familial history of cardiac conditions should avoid TRT due to its risk for elevating your blood cell count and increasing your risk for a heart attack, blood clot, or stroke. Additionally, some research has shown that testosterone can cause elevated PSA levels. Those with current prostate concerns or a strong familial history of prostate cancer may be ineligible or require more frequent lab work.
If you have any concerns above, please discuss your treatment options with your provider.
-
To ensure safety while under treatment, we like to take a few extra precautions. Patient will be expected to adhere to the following:
Daly Aspirin 81mg
Daily Omega 3 Fish Oil
Donate Blood every 3 months
Follow-up blood work

Various reasons are responsible for causing male sexual dysfunction including:

Medication Side Effects
-
Our providers create individualized treatment plans to address your concerns using medications such as Viagra (sildenafil) or Cialis (tadalafil), hormone balancing, and/or psychological counseling.
sildenafil (Viagra)- temporarily increases blood flow to your penis when you get sexually excited. This medication takes 30-60 minutes to start working but can be taken a few hours before initiating sex. People who take nitrate medications for chest pain should avoid taking sildenafil (Viagra).
tadalafil (Cialis) - relaxes the muscles of the blood vessels allowing an increase in blood flow to particular areas of the body. This medication is taken daily to help achieve an erection when sexual stimulation occurs. An erection will not occur just by taking a pill unlike sildenafil (Viagra). People who take nitrate medications for chest pain should avoid taking taladafil (Cialis).
Antidepressants - can cause side effects such as delayed orgasm which can help treat premature ejaculation.
As always, please consult your provider to discuss which medications are appropriate for you.
Peptide Therapy
-
Aging adults can achieve multiple positive effects from peptide therapy such as:
Improved energy
Increased strength
Accelerated recovery time
Increased sex drive
Improved mood
Weight loss
Anti-aging properties
Most patients starts to notice changes within a few weeks of starting peptide therapy. Sometimes it may take 6-8 weeks for your body to become adjusted and upwards to 4-6 months for full acclimation to your new medication regimen.
-
Peptide Therapy is an innovative form of HRT that helps stimulate the body’s natural production of human growth hormones (hGH). Our bodies require hGH to properly grow and develop. Unfortunately, as we age our bodies start to produce less and less hGH causing undesired changes in our health and wellbeing.
Peptides are short molecular chains of amino acids that make up the building blocks of proteins.
Therefore, bringing peptide therapy into your life, we can help you restore muscle mass, decrease your recovery time from exercise, improve your sex drive, enhance your mood, reduce your weight, and slow down the aging process helping you look and feel like a younger version of yourself!
-
Our providers create individualized treatment plans using various formulations of peptides to help you achieve your optimal well-being or fitness goals.
The types of peptides that our providers use, help stimulate testosterone production and/or build lean muscle mass while reducing body fat.
Sermorelin - an injectable synthetic peptide that is structurally similar to the growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). GHRH binds to receptors in the brain and triggers the release of human growth hormone (hGH) from the pituitary gland.
-
While peptide therapy has been approved by the FDA, patients should still be aware of the potential side effects of this medication.
Pain or swelling at the injection site
increased appetite
Dizziness and/or headaches
Tachycardia (fast heart rate)
Chest tightness
Hives
These adverse reactions are usually temporary and typically disappear without medical assistance. Please speak with your provider about any concerns you may have about starting peptide therapy.

Why do I have to give blood on testosterone therapy?
Testosterone increases the production of red blood cells which can essentially make your blood a little thicker, increasing your risk for heart attack, stroke, or clots. We like the extra preventive care to ensure safe treatment for you!
